Dr. Hunte will present his work on the application of resilience in the St. Paul's Emergency Department.
The title of his presentation is Enacting resilience in everyday practice: steps along the journey

Dr. Hunte is an emergency physician at St. Paul's Hospital, a scientist at the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences, the strategic lead for Patient Safety and System Resilience in Emergency Care in the Department of Emergency Medicine, University of British Columbia, and the organizer/host of the 6th Resilient Health Care meeting in Vancouver, 14-16 August 2017. His area of research interest includes the creation of safety in everyday practice in complex systems.
